Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Media access control is required for multiplexing among many traffic flows on one fiber in PON (Passive Optical Network). This paper discusses the queuing model focusing on this media access control for theoretical performance evaluation. It proposes M/IPP/1 model for this control, and verifies suitability of this proposal by simulations.
