Abstract(in English) This paper presents a basic experiment for the binary reactance diversity of 3-element ESPAR antennas. We propose a simple diversity scheme that employs binary reactance control based on the criterion of received power. The port impedance of 3-element ESPAR antenna is kept in balance over a change in reactance values. The prototype of a 3-element ESPAR antenna fabricated as planar printed circuit reveals a performance of diversity with 7dB gain at CDF 99%.
