Abstract(in English) Difficulty of tampering for reading security information in LSIs, such as mask-ROMs, flash memories and battery- backup-sRAMs, is classified based upon cost of equipments and skills of analysts to perform tampering for them. Reading of mask-ROM data is easier than others. If difficulty of mask-ROM data reading is classified as lowest rank of level 5,difficulties for reading the data of flash memories and battery- backup-sRAMs are ranked as level 3 and level 1, respectively.
