Abstract(in English) A fully-integrated mixed-signal System on a Chip (SoC) has been developed in 0.13μm 1PS6Cu CMOS for DVD player systems. It integrates one DSP, two 32-b RISC-CPUs, three processors, PRML Read CHannel with an Analog Front End (AFE) and lots of other subsystems on the same die. The AFE contains a 5^ order Gm-C filter and attains over 66dB C/N overall. The SoC contains 24 million transistors in the 64mm^2 die and consumes 1.5W at 1.5x DVD playback operation. This means that the total power consumption is about 50% reduction compared with a conventional DVD player system.
