Abstract(in English) In a design of FIR digital filters, though quantization of coefficients deteriorates filter performance, it is possible to reduce complexity by implementing multipliers as a multiplication block using common subexpressions. In this research, we propose a method for searching the optimum coefficients as a multiplication block efficiently using Tabu Search algorithm. This method provides the flexible optimization in consideration of both complexity and filter performance.
