Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The dual-band image reject mixer is designed for a GPS L1/L2 dual-band receiver, which is an extension of the weaver architecture and uses the quadrature mixer sharing the transconductors of I/Q to obtain high image rejection. This paper demonstrates that quadrature mixer compensates phase error in the quadrature LO signal with no calibration and no tuning. This dual-band image reject mixer is implemented in a 0.25/zm CMOS technology, and its image reject ratio is improved from 41dB, limited by precision of the 1st poly phase filter, to maximally 64dB.
