Abstract(in English) | We have developed a 5Gb/s transceiver scalable up to 20 channels (100Gb/s) using 0.13um 1.5V CMOS technology. This transceiver features newly developed an Ground-sensing Parallel-transistor-latch Sampling Amplifier for a higher data rate per channel and longer distance transmission, a flexible Multi-Channel Aligner for Multi-Channel Operation, and full digital clocking circuits for low-voltage operation. This transceiver operates 5Gbps transmission per channel over a AWG28 5m cable at 1.5V supply voltage, and can be used for broader bandwidth transmission to cope with the internet traffic expansion. |
