Abstract(in English) This paper presents the fingerprint-image enhancement and rotation schemes which increase the identification accuracy using the pixel-parallel processing of pixels. In this schemes, the range of fingerprint sensor is adjusted to finger state, the sensed image is retouched to obtain the most suitable fingerprint for identification, and the image is rotated to the correct angle. The 150,000-times identification test confirms that the schemes reduce false rejection rate to 6.17% from 30.59%, when false acceptance rate is 0.1%.
