Cycle Accurate System Modeling written in Java Language

Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a system modeling methodology, for the development of a system model with cycle clock accuracy, making good use of object oriented features in Java language. This research evaluates if Java language is applicable to a system model description language, developing a cycle accurate system model written in Java language, introducing a language independent truth table cell library for control logic. A window GUI, which displays application program, register file of processor and memory, is developed with API of GUI in Java language as a development environment tool for application program. The system model simulation result shows the effectiveness of Java language as a system model description language, verifying with a developed GUI by both a personal computer and a work station.
