抄録(英) | In this paper, we propose the general advanced microcontroller bus architecture (AMDA) bridge which could be applicable on a variety of application specification reusable intellectual properties (IPs) needed in implementing system on a chip (SoC) with reduced instruction set computer (RISC) core. Proposed AMBA bridge is verified on FPGA evaluation board. In order to demonstrate the flexibility of proposed AMBA bridge, we applied the proposed AMBA bridge to the wireless LAN (IEEE802.11.b) base band processor. WLAN base band processor and AMBA bridge are implemented in Altera's Excalibur and connected to the advanced high performance bus (AHB). Finally, we verify wireless base band processor and AMBA bridge through establishing the channel of communication between a commercial access point and implemented base-band processor successfully. Proposed AMBA bridge is possible to support a common interface fbr seamless connectivity in RISC-based system on a chip. |
