Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have designed a 4-GHz second-order continuous-time delta-sigma modulator using resonant-tunneling quantizer, and estimated the performance by SPICE simulation. The SNR was 52.3dB (8.4bits) at a sampling frequency of 4GHz and an oversampling ratio of 64. A 2-bit resonant-tunneling quantizer has also been proposed, which is probably useful to improve the SNR.
