| Abstract(in English) | The present study makes a comparison of two inspection policies for a scale as follows: (1) Immediately after we weigh each product, we ship it out. If a product with an incorrect weight is shipped out, penalty cost is incurred. (2) We do not ship out products until we conduct inspection to the scale to ensure the scale is accurate. If the scale is detected to be uncaribrated by inspection, we reweigh the products. |
