Estimating Software Reliability in the Dynamic Capture-Recapture Method

Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose the estimation method for the number of inherent faults in software, which is the extended method from the Mills' capture-recapture method. More precisely, the proposed method, which is called the dynamic capture-recapture method, is based on the dynamic behavior of fault detection process. Finally,we examine the statistical properties of the estimator for the number of inherent faults by compared to the Mills'static capture-recapture methods.
