| 抄録(和) | 日本語母語話者が英語の/r/-/l/音の知覚学習を行う際,音響的および意味的文脈が知覚および知覚学習に与える影響について検討した./r/と/l/で対立する単語対(Word:WD)とそれらを意味的文脈性の低い文(semantically neutral carrier sentence;NS),意味的文脈性の高い文(semantically contextual carrier sentence;CS)に挿入した単文を素材として,音韻知覚・学習実験を行ったところ,意味的文脈は音韻の知覚を促進するが,文脈の意味情報を頼る聴取方法を身につけるため知覚訓練効果は小さかった.一方,音響的文脈は音韻情報以外に手がかりとなる情報が少ないため知覚を阻害するが,訓練効果は大きいことがわかった.これらの結果より,音韻知覚能力の向上には意味的文脈の付加のない素材での訓練が有効であることが示唆された. |
| 抄録(英) | A laboratory training study was conducted in order to investigate the effect of acoustic and semantic contexts on identification of English words minimally contrasting in /r/-/l/. Thirty native speakers of Japanese participated in a word identification task and perceptual training under three stimulus conditions : (1) WD condition (words in isolation), (2) NS condition (words within a semantically neutral carrier sentence), and (3) CS condition (words within a semantically contextual carrier sentence). The result showed that semantic context increased identification accuracy but interfered with perceptual training, while acoustic context lowered identification accuracy but increased the effect of perceptual training. This result suggests that training methods that develop the ability to identify phonemes only with auditory input may be effective in cultivation of aural comprehension. |
