Emotional Speech Modeling in HMM-based Speech Synthesis

Abstract(in English) In this paper, HMM-based speech synthesis system is applied to English emotional speech synthesis. To synthesize emotional speech, training database is consists of emotional speech recorded by using emotional target sentences. We consider the emotions, "neutral," "angry," "happy," and "sad." We discuss datasets and synthesized speeeh based on the result of listening test.
