Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this report, a glottal flow which was a air flow in a glottis was numerically simulated. A model of the glottis was assumed by a two-dimensional static model which was not deformed, i.e. the glottis model was acoustically a rigid body. The glottal flow was calculated based on the basic equations in a compressible viscous fluid by using the MacCormark scheme. In this analysis, the following results were obtained. In the beginning, a jet through glottis occurred with symmetric vortices, and a flow was a laminar flow except at near glottis. After that, the vortices were convected downstream, and the flow was asymmetric. Finally, the flow was transformed into a turbulent flow from a laminar that. These results concluded that the glottal flow was a turbulent flow with vortices rather than a laminar that.
