Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We applied linear systems analysis for the temperature regulation of human body. The body was represented by seven lumped compartments, head, the trunk and extremities each of them are divided to the skin and the muscle regions. The exchange of the heat among the compartments was assumed to be performed by blood flow. The parameters for the heat conduction were referred to the anatomical and physiological data with using the cylindrical model. At the normal physiological state, the temperature system is stable but uncontrollable. The impulse responses in all the compartments of the body terminated within a finite time. By optimizing the feed back, the singular value of the system was reduced considerably. The present system analysis will be available for evaluating the functional aspects of the temperature regulation of the human body.
