| 抄録(和) | 居眠りは,睡眠不足や慢性疲労,病気等が原因で意識水準が低下した時に起きる.万が一,運転中に居眠り状態になると,回避操作をすることができずに衝突する可能性が非常に高く,重大な事故につながりやすい.このような居眠り運転による事故を未然に防止するために,居眠り状態を早期に検出するシステムが必要とされている.意識水準が低下すると,瞬きの回数が多くなる,瞬き1回当たりの閉眼時間が長くなる,1～2秒間の間に数回の瞬きが連続的に発生するといった変化が表れる.そこで,瞬きの変化を検知することによって,意識水準の低下を検出することができると考えられる.本研究では,リアルタイム目追跡システムを用いて,居眠り警報装置の開発を目標に瞬き検出装置を開発した.本システムは,非接触かつリアルタイムで瞬きを検出し,瞬きの回数,閉眼時間を測定できるといった特徴がある.一定の照明条件において,本システムの瞬きの検出率は97%以上であった. |
| 抄録(英) | Doze occurs in the state in which the consciousness level falls owing to lack of sleep, chronic fatigue, illness, etc. If drivers are in a doze state during driving, colliding possibility without carrying out evasion operation is very high, leading to the serious accident. In order to prevent the accident by the doze operation, the system which detects a doze state at an early stage is needed. If the consciousness level falls, several changes, i.e. the number of blinks increases, the closed eye time per blink becomes long and several blinks occur continuously in 1 - 2 seconds, will appear. Then, it is thought that the fall of consciousness level is detectable by measuring the blink changes. In this study, we developed a blink detector using a real-time eye tracking system aiming for the development of a doze detector. The present system detects blinks non-contact and real-time. It has the features that the number of blinks and closed eye time of blinks are measured. The detection rate of blinks by this system was more than 97% under a fixed lighting condition. |
