Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | It is considered that a pitch of f_0 is produced in the auditory center when we listen to a complex tone of f_1=nf_0 and f_2=(n+k)f_0 f_0 is known as the missing fundamental. (1) We have confirmed that we can perceive the missing fundamental by psycho-acoustic experiments. (2) We have confirmed that the perceptability of the missing fundamental doesn't change even if the phase of the input signal changes or even if the amplitude of it changes. (3) We have explained those reasons. (4) We have carried out the experiments of the perception of the missing fundamental from higher harmonics. |
