Abstract(in English) | We have developed a skin moisture meter which compares reflectance absorption of specific wave lengths utilizing spectroscopic analysis. The meter alternately emits lights(LED) on the skin the wave length of 1.45μm which matches to the peak absorption spectrum of water molecule and the wave length of 1.30μm which does not match to the peak absorption spectrum of water molecule and receive both lights with photodiode to measure and compare. Forming a ventilation capsule of the sweating rate meter by mounting a pipe that supplies and discharges air on the optical device capsule. This device enables to measure the hypodermic water and skin moisture simultaneously on the same spot. We report herewith the outline and the operational features of the device, and the sub dermal moisture and skin moisture of the forehead and of the mental sweating volume of left thumb pad. |
