Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A fan beam-type chirp pulse microwave computed tomography (CP-MCT) is a microwave imaging modality in which high-speed imaging is possible. In order to determine the optimal arrangement of the fan beam scanner including the optimized arrangement of dipole arrangement of the receiving antenna, the image reconstruction simulation has been carried out by use of a supercomputer with "after-effect function method" which was developed in our laboratory. We have found the best sampling condition in CP-MCT by taking the minimum over sampling and characteristic artifacts inherent to the fan-beam scanner into consideration. Under the best sampling condition, the spatial resolution of CP-MCT has been evaluated numerically.
