Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Acupuncture points have been found in low electrical resistance area compared to the surrounding tissue physiologically. The significance and detail of the electrical properties around the acupuncture points are not clear. In most published studies about the electrical properties of skin, there were several problems in measuring skin impedance. In this report, we examined the relations between the skin impedance parameters and the electrode area with some reviews of method and condition. And we also performed multi channel measurement of skin impedance locus around the acupuncture point. As a result, we found that the parameter γm which characterized the skin impedance vector loci was independnt of electrode areas and enabled to evaluate the difference of the electrical properties of the skin.
