Design of a 5GHz Bandpass Filter Using Coplanar Waveguid Half-Wavelength Spiral Resonators

Abstract(in English) In this paper, a 5GHz bandpass filter is proposed using coplanar waveguide half-wavelength spiral resonators. By using an electromagnetic simulator Sonnet em, the resonator properties, external Q of the resonators, and the coupling coefficient between two resonators are investigated. A 4-pole Chebyshev BPF is designed. After optimization and diagnosis of the filters, the design specifications are satisfied well. Furthermore, a 6-pole BPF of the same specification is designed.
