Abstract(in English) | In this paper, a new packet routing scheme for UWB ad-hoc network is proposed and evaluated. Compared to the conventional narrowband wireless systems, the transmission power of the UWB systems are quite low. However, unlike the conventional narrowband wireless systems, UWB systems can transmit the signal over large bandwidth. This brings the following two features. One is that it is possible to measure the distance between the UWB terminals. The other is that the process gain can be widely adaptable. Our novel packet routing scheme employs these features. It controls packet forwarding zone, and improves the effective date rate performance especially between close terminals. |
