Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently communication systems using ultra wideband (UWB) are being developed. When UWB technology is used in indoor circumstances of offices and houses, the shadowing effect of a propagation path by human occultation is thought to be large. In this report comparison between measured human occultation loss and measured shadowing loss by a metal plate is presented and modeling of human shadowing is discussed.
