Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Path difference between two slot tracks occurs in a bend section of a coplanar waveguide (CPW), which causes popagation phase difference, leading generally a transmission characteristic deterioration. As a method of compensating for this phase difference the present report proposes that of shorting effective wavelength and advancing phase in the inner slot line, by placing a thin dielectric, covering on the inner slot line. Phase compensation effect of this method is investigated using the FDTD method. Simple methods of using air bridges are also examined to compare the results with those of the present method.
