Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper analyses the higher-order harmonics distortions generated from a pair of diodes which are so connected that they are in anti-series in the high-frequency circuit and in parallel in the low-frequency bias circuit. The equivalent circuit of a diode is expressed as a parallel connection of a nonlinear resistance and a nonlinear capacitance. In such a diode pair, the nonlinear resistance and nonlinear capacitance suppress the generation of odd-number-order harmonic distortions and even-number-order harmonic distortions, respectively. This paper calculates and compares harmonic distortions generated from a diode pair and a single diode and shows that both the even-number-order and odd-n umber-order harmonic distortions are suppressed by the diode pair compared with the single-diode connection.
