Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have so far examined the relatively simple ways to change and improve the matching characteristic for a conventional EM-wave absorber. This paper proposes a new EM-wave absorber with periodical square holes and conductive patterns. It is clarified theoretically by FDTD analysis that it is possible to improve the matching characteristic and to broadly change the matching frequency characteristic toward a high frequency in this structure. Further, the absorption principle is investigated from the input admittance study.
