Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A stepped cavity resonator is proposed to improve spurious characteristics of the dual-mode cavity resonator, and the difference between the fundamental resonant and the spurious resonant frequencies (a 200 MHz improvement) demonstrated in the case of a stepped cylindrical fundamental band of 1.8 GHz against a conventional cylindrical cavity. These are used in a two-stage BPF, showing an improvement in spurious characteristics. Comparisons are presented of simulated and measured characteristics of the BPF.
