Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Presented herein is an analysis of propagation behaviour along wet soil and an experimental observation using a microwave model. Electromagnetic waves, in general, which propagate along wet soil have an effect on volumes of water. In this paper, the results of VSWR of an numerical analysis and a measurement are compared when the electromagnetic waves incident wet soil perpendicularly. In addition, the method of effective dielectric constant is used to calculate complex dielectric constants of wet soil.
