Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) For MIMO channel with spatial correlation in multipath fading, the analysis of transmission characteristics is needed. This paper describes a simplified calculation method for the distribution of the largest eigenvalue of the correlation matrix, for MRC transmission characteristic in Rayleigh MIMO channel with spatial correlation. We assumed a propagation model where multipaths are uncorrelated at the transmit array in a mobile station, while correlated at the receive array in a base station. In order to show the channel capability, we examined the effect of spatial correlation on the capacity by using the proposed model. Finally, we investigate the relationship between BER and CNR, in MIMO using MRC transmission.
