Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We show an IP protocol learning system which is developed for students' exercise class. This learning system has a packet rewriting tool by which students can observe and modulate a real data stream among network applications on time. This system is constructed on Linux PCs and it also contains a packet capture tool for analyzing data streams. Ordinary, exercises about packets on the network, especially reading and writing packets, would be done with network programming which needs knowledge about not only networks but also APIs for network interfaces such as "sockets". With this system, we can plan the class without students' programming skills. We show details of this system and effects in the exercise class.
