A Study on Psychological Supports Using Electronic Communications Media for School Refusal Students

Abstract(in English) This study examines the significance and possibilities of psychological supports using electronic communications media such as internet and e-mail for school refusal students. Two topics are introduced in this paper. They are: (1) the present status of application of internet in supporting school refusal students at an adaptation assistance class, and (2) a case of its application to the school refusal students who refuse facing communications. After introducing these topics, (3) an examination has been made on problems anticipated with regard to psychological supports by use of electronic communications media. The examination is made with an emphasis on the effectiveness of application of these media in the recovering process of the interpersonal relationship in particular.
