| Abstract(in English) | We are developing a retrieval system to study sign language vocabulary. This system is available for not only JSL basic vocabulary but also for technical terms, local signs, and some ASL vocabulary. This paper reports on the first stage in the project I.e., to take a sign picture of the reflection and convert it into the file of the computer, available for a database. 817 JSL words expressions were saved as MPEG files and evaluated by deaf people who are skilled in JSL. |
