Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In order to support students to see class videos in the internet, we are developing a lecture video library and an original browser. The quality of the former depends on the camera work, the picture format and the clarity of recorded speech signal. On the other hand, the later should have an accessibility, which enables the user to find the desired scenes quickly. For this purpose, we have applied the speech recognition engine to extract technical terms from the recorded speech signal automatically. And, we made an index file, which linked the technical terms to the video time base. In this study, we describe the operation of the developed browser especially focusing on the reliability of the index file. In addition, the subjectively evaluated results of three videos by seven students are given.
