Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) RHiNET is a network which has advantages of both Local Area Networks (LANs) and System Area Networks (SANs). A compressible flow analysis program with the finite rate chemical reaction is parallelized and implemented on a RHiNET-2 prototype system. Through the evaluation, about 9 times speedup is achieved on 16 nodes. The same program is also implemented and evaluated on Compaq's AlphaServer GS320 and the Compaq's Beowulf Cluster with Myrinet-2000.
