Abstract(in English) | Equivalent dielectric constants of artificial material are studied experimentally, and electro-magnetic wave absorbers using the material are introduced. The structure of the artificial material here is a sheet in which thin- and finite- length conductive rods are aligned regularly. The sheet exhibits dispersion in permittivity in microwave frequencies. A flat- type absorber, known as a Salisbury type absorber, is proposed using the artificial material sheet instead of a resistive screen. |
