Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The in vitro exposure apparatus based on cylindrical wave-guide has been developed to investigate possibility of biological effect caused by radio frequency electromagnetic field exposure. A study on expression of heat shock protein due to stress except for thermal origin is planed with this exposure apparatus. It is needed to analyze thermal environment within exposure apparatus to execute this study. In this paper, thermal field analysis is performed by implicit method to improve calculation speed. As the calculation condition, it is assumed that incident electric power is 1W and exposure time is 3OOOsec. A result of this analysis under this condition indicates that maximum temperature rising is 3.5 degree at the bottom of medium. It is thought that quantity of heat shock protein expression is relatively low, if incident electric power is less than 1W, according to the data for dependence of heat shock protein expression on environment temperature obtained by real-time RT-PCR method. It is possible that to set up exposure condition for non-thermal examination to suppress thermal effect minimum by the thermal field analysis.
