Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) With the spread of wireless communication devices including portable phone and wireless local area network(LAN), wireless technologies have been used in many systems. On the use of indoor wireless LAN, however, the electromagnetic(EM) interference frequently occurred by the unwanted reflections from the wall, windowpane, ceiling and others. Therefore, arrangement of EM wave absorbers for preventing the undesired EM waves has been studied and is realized. Moreover, these issues are very important for partition used in the office building as well as indoor wall and pane. In this study, EM wave absorber with partition type add the function of EM wave absorption for wireless LAN is examined theoretically and experimentally. As a result, we confirm that the absorption of 20dB or more is obtained for vertical incident at 2.45GHz and 5.2GHz. The absorption of 15dB or more for TE and TM wave and circularly polarized wave can also be obtained at the incident angle between 5 deg. and 20deg.
