Measurement of Electric Near Field Distribution by Optical Electric Field Probe

Abstract(in English) Recently the frequency which electronic communication and information devices are using reaches up to GHz rang. A small high-resolution electromagnetic field probe are requested in designing and analyzing the devices. An optical electric field sensing is one of the attractive technology for the field measurement in GHz rang. In represent work, the characteristics of the optical electric field probe is evaluated and the near-filed electric field distributions over a micro-strip line are measured using both optical electric field probe and conventional coaxial monopole antenna.
