Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A newly developed prototype for a high-resolution microwave direction-of -arrival (DOA) finder with battery operation is presented. The approach to estimating DOA is based on the cross correlation method eith an Electronically Steerable Passive Array Radiator (ESPAR) Antenna. The Power Pattern Cross Correlation method is a DOA estimating method that uses the beam steering of the ESPAR antenna, and offers low calculation cost. The result shows tht high-resolution handheld DOA finder has been developed and its resolution is almost 3 degrees.
