Abstract(in English) Elliptic-function band-rejection filter (BRF) is proposed in order to obtain sharper attenuation characteristics than conventional ones without attenuation poles such as Chebyshev BRF. To the authors' knowledge, BRF with attenuation poles has rarely been reported before, although bandpass filters with them have been intensively reported. In this paper, circuit synthesis of the BRF and measured characteristics of a prototype Ku-band BRF are shown. In the former, synthesis procedure of a symmetrically-folded BRF equivalent circuit is shown, and in the latter, structure and measured data of the prototype BRF with TE_<01δ>-mode dielectric resonators are reported.
