Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Abstract In this paper, we focus on added values of lightweight and low-cost by attaching importance to the practicality as wave absorbers in addition to absorption performances of them. Therefore, we make the resistive sheet of carbonized absorbent cotton and acrylic resin, and thereby we compose the λ/4 type wave absorber which is well-known as lightweight type absorber, by using styrene foam for the spacer. We also measure the absorption characteristics of the absorber in C-band(4~6GHz) by power reflection method. Consequently, we have confirmed that maximum absorption of 23dB is obtained and thickness of proposed absorber is 40% thinner than that of conventional type.
