Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Electromagnetic cell material (EMCM) for EMC use is newly proposed in this paper. This functional material is essentially composed of an active or a passive micro-electronic circuit in a three dimensional structure which is called a unit cell and the unit cells are arranged based on the Bravais lattice. This functional material characteristic can be controlled both by the characteristic of the active or the passive micro-electronic circuit itself and the spatial arrangement of the unit cells on the bases of the Bravais lattice. To realize this material for actual use, microwave absorbers are designed as an example of this new material. It is clarified that the matching frequency characteristic can be controlled electronically and also the matching characteristic itself is controlled in the same frequency.
