Preparation for the Analysis of Operating Modes in a Step-down Switching Regulator

Abstract(in English) We herein show analytical solutions for output voltage and coil current in the conductive and non-conductive periods of the transistor switch in a step-down switching regulator. Introducing two parameters x and y, then these solutions are transformed into simpler forms suitable for the numerical cormnitation. Morover, all the possibilities for time development of the output voltage and coil current are classified by using differential wave forms of them, which is useful for making a flow chart of numerical comoutation program.
