Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This report investigates by using FDTD method the unloaded quality factor of a quarter-wavelength resonator consisting of a conductive strip with a finite thickness the whole structure of which is shielded in a rectangular box of conductor. Concentration of electromagnetic fields around the edge of conductor makes it difficult to analyze quality factors of strip resonators rigorously. Considering strong effects of the singularity in electromagnetic fields on the evaluation of quality factors, it is tried to fine down cell sizes of the Yee's mesh in FDTD. The singularity is processed from the viewpoint of integration. It is shown that the fining down of cell sizes improves the accuracy of analysis on conductor losses calculated on the basis of surface impedance; and hence that it is possible to obtain quality factors with increasing accuracy.
