Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Oliver Heaviside's most influential discovery was the mathematical solution for the distortionless line. The mathematical condition for the distortionless line was achieved by inphase voltage with current, and it coincides with the condition of transmitting the maximum power in a steady state. In applying the idea of inphase voltage with current, Heaviside revised Maxwell's equations as represented by electric and magnetic fields. Heaviside defined "impedance" for the ratio of electric and magnetic fields, and showed that the product of the two fields defined electric power or energy. In this paper, we show novel nonlinearity for electric power or energy. |
