Abstract(in English) | Unlike cable network, versatile routing methods in multi-hop wireless network are possible according to various communication environments. Up to now, many routing methods are investigated which consider power consumption, EM-environment or battery residual quantity. This paper proposes "Minimum Potential Routing" as a new routing method. First, node potential of a node with respect to the sending node is defined, which is uniquely determined by the rout from sending node to concerned node, and then searching method of route with the minimum potential is presented. If node potential is "Power-Distance", then this routing is corresponding to the "Minimum Power distance route". Since the node potential proposed in this paper contains load factor of a node related to the amount of information processing at the node as well as power distance between the sending node and the present node, various types of routing can be derived. In this paper, (1) minimum radiation power, (2) minimizing the maximum load, (3) minimizing the total load, (4) power and load mixed, (5) load evaluation value are considered. Due to the load dispersed routing algorithm proposed in this paper, it is possible to improve the efficiency of the system and user's satisfactions. By computational simulations, various characteristics and usefulness of proposed routing algorithm are investigated. |
