| 抄録(和) | 卓上出版技術の進歩はめざましく,日常目にする多くの文書がT_EX等の文書組版プログラムによって作成されている。しかし,これらのプログラムのほどんどが,文字配置の美しさの評価基準に英文のものを用いているため,何行何文字という基準で配置されてきた日本語文書の美的基準と相容れないことがある。特に,3段組等の1行当たりの文字数が少ない場合,数式や,ハイフネーションを用いても適切に分割できない長い単語等が含まれていると,他の行と比べて字間が大きすぎる行が生じることがある。本研究では,与えられた段落を日本語文書に適した形に行分割するにはどのような評価基準を用いるべきかについて考察し,これをアサイクリックグラフの最短路探索の手法で解くことを考える。 |
| 抄録(英) | Due to the remarkable progress of desk top publishing techniques, many documents are produced by word-processors or typesetting softwares such as T_EX. However, almost all such programs use criteria based on English documents in partitioning paragraph into lines, so that they sometimes produce inappropriate typesetting for a Japanese document. For example, if each line is short and a paragraph contains a long mathematical equation or foreign word which cannot be divided by hyphenation, a line with large space between characters may be created, which is not suitable to Japanese documents, since the numbers of characters in succeeding lines are to be almost equal in Japanese documents. In this paper, we consider a problem to break a paragraph into lines, and proposes appropriate criteria to Japanese document. The criteria are effective but simple so that the problem can be solved by a shortest path in a acyclic graph. |
