Blind Identification of MIMO-FIR Systems with Colored Input Using Cumulant Matrix

Abstract(in English) Recently, some approaches have been presented to solve blind identification of a Mutiple-Input Multiple-Output Finite Impulse Response (MIMO-FIR) system with colored input using the second-order statistics (SOS) under some assumptions for source signals. However, in some applications, these assamptions, for example, white input signal, become very strong. In this report, under a weaker condition, which the source signals are spatially independent, temporally second-order uncorrelated but fourth-order correlated, we propose a new approach based on fourth-order cumulant matrix. First, a set of cumulant matrix is created from the fourth-order cumulant of output signals of unknown channels. Then all of these cumulant matrix can be combined in a joint diagonalization scheme to achive a identification result.
